Bio: As a lifelong Oregonian, Katarina has called the Salem area home since childhood. She earned her Master of Social Work after working as a certified birth doula supporting military families throughout the United States, an experience that inspired her passion for improving the emotional health and well-being of children and families. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Autism Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), she has experience in integrated primary care, pediatric autism services, outpatient therapy, and community-based mental health. She takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to care, partnering with children and families to build on their strengths and support healthy emotional development. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the Salem area with her husband and three children, spending time with their three dogs, and reading with a cup of coffee close by.
